Assessment: PCA
The only direct assessment in the ABA field consisting of 344 items. Administration time ranges from 10min - 1 hour depending on abilities and age.
Intervention Curriculum: 4 Learning Modules
PEAK consists of 4 learning modules that comprise a total of 736 curricular programs that range from very early skills like vocal imitation and manding, to extremely advanced logical induction and deduction of abstract concepts.
Target Populations: Autism, Language Delays, Others
The majority of usage is within the autism service delivery sector. However, PEAK has been used to evaluate language and cognitive skills for persons as diverse as those with dementia, brain injury, ADHD, and even general developing teens.
Teaching Modules
Four distinct learning modules that are to be implemented concurrently - not sequentially. Direct Training is designed to teach basic verbal operants and motor performances. Generalization expands stimulus and response control across training conditions. Equivalence and Transformation capitalize on the powers of inferential learning and relational frame theory. Get your clients to learn more, and think on their own - rather than be memorizing and prompt dependent!
